I have a Sub-Zero model BI-36U/S/PH built in February 2011. I have a very loud whine from the fridge while running that has just started. I power cycle and it goes away but comes back in 15 minutes. Now it happens all the time when powered on. What could be causing this noise and what should I do?

The oven door won't unlock after a cleaning cycle. It's been over 4 hours since the cycle completed. We've unplugged the range and left it unplugged for over half an hour. Nothing works. The oven is a GE Profile TrueTemp 4-burner gas stove, at least 10 years old. What can be done to unlock the door?
