My refrigerator was working until the house was hit by lightning. Now, both the refrigerator and freezer work, but the ice maker, water dispenser, and display are inoperable. What could be the issue and what part should I check?

My GE Profile dishwasher, model PDW9980L00SS, manufactured in February 2006, has started stopping mid-cycle, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after a half hour. Initially, it could be restarted to finish the cycle, but now it shuts off after a minute or two every time. I ran through the service mode checks and factory test mode, but the main pump didn't function as expected. When it shuts off, the display either goes blank or resets to default ready mode. What could be causing this issue, and what should I do to fix it?

My Whirlpool Duet WFW72HE front-load washer's door is locked and won't open. The washing machine is less than a year old. We were doing a sink repair and turned the water off a couple of minutes after my mom started the washer. What can I do to fix this issue?

My GE Evolution dishwasher doesn't drain completely. I removed the drain hose and water does get pumped out, but there is always still a puddle on the bottom of the dishwasher after the machine shuts off. What could be the issue and what should I check?

I have a Bosch WNM55 XXXXXXXXXX. On my third wash, the signal started beeping and the Regular Spin, Spin, End, and Start/Pause buttons keep blinking. The door opens fine, and there was just a little water in the tub. What could be causing this issue and what can I do to resolve it?

I have a noisy fridge, specifically a much higher humming sound. The unit is 3 years old and bought at Home Depot. The noise doesn't change with temperature settings and stays on Temp 3. The fridge is a Goldseries side by side stainless model. The noise is louder when the freezer drawer is pulled out, but there is no excess frost buildup, and the freezer is cooling properly. What could be causing the noise and what should I do?
