My stovetop oven door suddenly won't open. We used it this morning as normal and a few hours later the door seems stuck. I have tried resetting the oven by unplugging it for 60 seconds and plugging it back in, and also tried using another outlet. The oven turns on but the door remains stuck. What could be the issue and how can I resolve it?

Our freezer on our side-by-side refrigerator has stopped working. The refrigerator side is still cold, but not as cold as it should be. We are experiencing significant frost buildup in our KitchenAid S25EWWH9 freezer. The freezer is set to 0°F and the refrigerator to 38°F. We haven't checked the damper or thermistor yet and have only been dumping the ice tray. The issue has been ongoing for a couple of weeks. I just bought a new Frigidaire slide-in stove. The old stove was hardwired, and I disconnected the wires from it. The new stove will be delivered tomorrow. Can I hardwire the new stove using the old wires, or should I replace them with a new outlet? My son will do the work if it's simple, otherwise, we'll hire an electrician.
