I have an old Whirlpool Stylemaster top-loading washing machine that is over 17 years old. It started a load and the water never drained. I replaced the timer, pressure switch, and hoses twice, but when I turn it back on, it only fills. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

I have a 3-year-old Samsung front loader dryer. When I turn it on, the hourglass symbol appears on the display and it won't start the cycle. The door closes and stays closed. I have cleaned all the vents and the vent tube, but it still shows the hourglass and won't start. What could be the issue and how can I troubleshoot it?

Our new Whirlpool dishwasher, model WDT730PAHZ, is not cleaning properly after only 3 uses. It seems to be partially filling up and then draining before the wash cycle.
