Re. Maytag dishwasher model MDB6000AWW purchased 1999. The upper water sprayer got about 90% clogged and wash pushed off by water pressure onto the upper rack. Virtually all the small jet outlets were clogged. A compressed brown-gray material flaked out by shaking the unit and reverse flushing. What can be done to avoid such accumulation of matter, powdery and in small flat pieces (when dry, about 1/4" flat)?

I have a GE refrigerator/freezer model # XXXXX with a serial # XXXXX. I heard there was a recall due to freeze-ups, and mine is experiencing the same issue. I've replaced the defrost heater more than once. What can I do to resolve this problem?

I have a Sub-Zero freezer (model 700BF, manufactured in December 1999, with a capacity of 6.0oz and using R134a refrigerant) on a yacht in Spain. It was working fine until I experienced low voltage, and now when I set the temperature to -5, it only reaches 12-15. Could the thermostat be the issue? Thanks, Capt. Bob.

Whirlpool Senseon model GEW9868KQ1 has a blank LED display and won't start, even after unplugging for more than 5 minutes. However, the convenience light comes on when the front dryer door is opened.

My Maytag washer MAH5500 has an issue where the hot water won't stop running, causing flooding. I've replaced the water valve, wax motor, timer, and pressure switch, but now the machine won't turn on. If I hold the on button, it might come on for a minute. What should I do?
