Someone gave us a Maytag Neptune dryer. The electrical cord was disconnected from the dryer. It has three prongs, all the same color. Behind a metal plate on the back of the dryer are three screws: the left one has two blue wires, the middle has two white wires, and the right one has a black and yellow wire. How do I connect the cord to the dryer - i.e., which prong of the cord goes on which post, or is this even where this cord connects?

I have a Whirlpool Gold, French door, bottom refrigerator, GX5FHDXVY. The freezer works fine, but the refrigerator starts warming up and stops working after a few days of defrosting it. What could be causing this issue, and what steps should I take to diagnose and fix it?

We have a Whirlpool Gold GD5SHA refrigerator/freezer. The door makes a loud click noise when opened and closed. I want to try and fix it myself since I think it may be something simple. What are your suggestions?

My Amana oven door is locked and I cannot open it. I did not put it into cleaning mode and the locked light is not on. I simply turned on my oven to heat - tried to open it to put in my casserole and the door won't open. I have let the oven cool completely and it still does not open.

I have an older 90 series Kenmore washer. The spin cycle does not always work, and it seems to disengage when I open the lid. I do not hear a ratcheting sound, and there is a faint smell of something burning. What could be the issue?
