I have a microwave (model JVM6175DF1BB) that has no power, made a clicking noise, and then went out. If I bump the bottom of the unit, it will click and the lights will blink. Our 14-year-old Kenmore Model 911.47814200 built-in wall unit did not unlock after completing the clean cycle. It's been a week now, and the oven has cooled. I tried all suggested overrides, powered off, and pushed multiple buttons simultaneously with no luck. I unplugged the lock mechanism harness, which only made the 'locked' indicator go from being on steady to blinking. How do I determine if it's the lock mechanism at fault or the control panel?

I have a Samsung microwave model SMH1622B where the keypad does not work, except for the potato button which changes the display but won't start the microwave.
