There is gas coming to the range top but there is no spark coming from the igniter. The range is model number ZGU385NSM2SS and is 13 years old. It has been going on for 2 months, and we are starting the range by using a handheld lighter. I have made sure that all of the openings are clean and there is no blockage. From watching YouTube videos, it would appear that the starter module or the harness for the igniter may need to be replaced. Would that be likely?

My GE Spacesaver washing machine stopped running in the middle of the cycle, full of water and won't go into the spin and rinse cycle. I tried resetting it, but it failed again at the same point.
