My Maytag top-loading washer is unbalanced during the rinse and spin cycle. I have redistributed the load but don't know how to restart it at the rinse and spin cycle. Does the washer have to start the whole cycle again?

My Maytag dryer, which is 8 months old, suddenly stopped working properly. It wouldn't come on when I pressed start, but after turning the main circuit breaker on and off, it worked briefly before failing again. Now it won't come on at all. I've checked the plug, the vent, and the door switch, which opens and closes fine but doesn't click. What should I do?

My Whirlpool washer (model WTW5010LW0) won't complete the initial sensing to start. Three lights flash (sense done and lid lock), then 'done' flashes, and it keeps alternating between them. We've tried unplugging the washer, recalibrating, and setting it to drain and spin, but it still doesn't work. The lid locks and unlocks, but it seems like the locking mechanism isn't communicating with the control panel. What could be the issue, and how can it be fixed?
