We have a 7-year-old dishwasher that is not heating water and runs indefinitely. The dishwasher is not included in the recall and has a custom wood panel. We are far from the nearest repair service. Can I diagnose and repair it myself, what would it cost to repair, is it worth it considering its age, and can the wood panel be transferred to a new model?
