What is the sticky fluid leaking in the refrigerator, which is brownish initially and now colorless but slightly yellow and sticky? The fridge is a 5-6 year old Samsung with double cooling tower, level and not tilted, located in an unheated pool house. The refrigerator temperature once reached 65 degrees, but the freezer remained at minus 8. The fluid has leaked into the freezer, causing the gasket to fall off and become sticky.

I have a KitchenAid downdraft vent system with model number KIRD862VSS. The vent is up and the fan is in, but it will not retract. I have taken out the filters, cleaned them, and returned them to the hood, but the issue persists. The manual mentions that this should activate the microswitch. My Cabrio washing machine was off balance during the cycle. I pushed the 'Hold to Start' button expecting it to cycle down and the lid to unlock, but the lid has never unlocked. I used the 3-second button fix but it has not reset. Do you have any ideas?

On a Fisher & Paykel eco-smart washer, is it safe to bypass the out of balance switch temporarily with a jumper to check if the switch is the problem, as opposed to the main electronic module?
