My F & P dishwasher DS603 stopped mid-cycle, and there is no power to the panel or buttons. I have tried resetting by turning off and pulling the power lead from the outlet, but it did not work. What could be the issue and what steps should I take to resolve it?

My model #xfg361lvs oven will light, but the igniter keeps clicking and the flame only stays lit for about a second before going out. The igniter stops clicking when the flame goes out. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

My Simpson Silensio 971 dishwasher model 52897100 serial 550 57431 stopped working - no lights or switches work. The electric outlet has power, but not the dishwasher. I cannot remember how old the machine is, but it is quite a few years. Is this likely to be something that would be economical to fix, or is it more likely to be more economical to buy a new machine?
