I have a relatively new HP desktop (product no H2M05AA#ABA) running Windows 7. After a recent factory restore, I am unable to complete the restore process and get all Windows/Microsoft updates before encountering issues that require another restore. The system often ends up with a black screen offering options to restore to an old point, restore to factory settings, or use an MS fix for the boot. What could be causing this issue and how can I resolve it?

After a power failure, I am getting error 1334 'awApi4.dll' and cannot access the program. The program was open during the power failure, and now I can't get in. The program is QuickBooks 2008. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it says QuickBooks is with another user and won't install. What should I do?

I paid $60 for a game from GameStop. After reformatting my hard drive and trying to reinstall the game, GameStop will not let me reinstall it, even after entering the serial number of the game, proof that I purchased it. The game is Trainz Engineers Edition, and I wrote to GameStop when I first bought the game, and they assured me it would be no problem to recover it. However, nothing works. GameStop works through a program called "Impulse" in order to download all of their programs. After updating and reinstalling "Impulse" I still couldn't get it to work. Can you help me with this, or is this just another lesson learned in not trusting anyone?
