I cannot connect my TV ears to an audio signal either from my TV or my amplifier. I have a Panasonic Viera C P50G20 plasma TV and a Yamaha RXV473 receiver. I have purchased a digital to analog converter that I have inserted the red and white analog connectors from TV Ears into. The digital cable is then connected to the back output audio of the TV set. I am getting a red light from the cable that is connected to the converter. I am only getting static on the TV Ears headset. I have turned the TV speaker volume on, then off and it makes no difference. I have replaced the TV Ears transmitter/receiver unit without success. (This unit is in my second home. A similar setup in my primary home works fine.) I have tried to plug the analog cable from the TV Ears unit into the analog Audio output plugs on the back of the receiver without success. Any suggestions about what I can try next?

My Dell Inspiron N5030 (Windows 7) stopped responding and now fails to start up normally, showing a 'Windows is loading files...' screen followed by a failed startup repair. I've tried system restores, image restores, and a full factory restore, all of which failed. The 'Diagnosis and repair details' indicate 'No OS files found on disk' with an error code 0x490. What can I do to resolve this issue?

I own a Sony Vaio laptop, VPCEE23FX. It worked fine until one day I tried to boot it up and it wouldn't boot. The disk drive clicks as though it is looking for a disk but there is no activity for the hard drive. Nothing comes up on the screen. What could be the issue and what steps can I take to resolve it?
