Our internet went down last week due to Cogeco's digging in our neighborhood. After it was restored, our computer cannot communicate wirelessly with our Canon MG3200 scanner. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer/scanner but it didn't work. How can I fix this issue?

I have a 2011 27" iMac with a black screen issue. I'm using it with a secondary monitor. I've tried zapping the P-RAM, command + option + p+r, and other online suggestions like adjusting brightness and using an external hard drive.
