I was installing Siemens Protool/Pro v6 SP3 on my Dell Latitude D820 laptop running Windows XP SP3 32bit OS. During the installation, I had to reboot several times. On the last reboot, my keyboard stopped working, preventing me from logging in, even in safe mode. An external USB keyboard also didn't work. The keyboard works fine in BIOS setup. What could be causing this issue and how can it be resolved?

I have Windows 7 with Microsoft Security Essentials and IE 8. The bottom of my screen shows 'Internet|Protected Mode: Off,' but when I check 'Internet Security Properties,' everything is set to high and medium high, and 'Enable Protected Mode' is already checked. Why does it still show 'Protected Mode Off,' and how can I resolve this without resetting my customized Internet Options settings?

I have a Dell computer with Windows 7 and a virtual PC with Windows XP. I am having difficulty connecting to the Internet. My wireless AT&T router is accessed by all other laptops in the house without issue, but not my HP desktop. Sometimes I have to restart for hours until I get online. Sometimes I get an error message that I need to download a driver update for 802.11b/g, but there’s no such adapter on my computer. What could be causing this issue and what steps can I take to resolve it?

I cannot read my publisher documents. They are in an unreadable text. It says to select the encoding that makes your document readable. How do I do this? I have Windows XP and Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 installed.
