On Skype, my microphone (built into my Lenovo Ideacentre) does not work. Is there a way to test it other than the Echo system in Skype? I have been dealing with this issue today, but it has been over a month since I made a Skype call. I plan to do the work myself or enlist my husband's help. I want to figure out if my microphone is defective or if it's a problem with Skype.

I was using Mozilla Firefox and was happy with it, but after switching to Norton for better security, I'm experiencing issues similar to before, such as ending up with the American version of eBay and incorrect time zone settings. I want to revert to my previous settings where I could easily access eBay, Google, Yahoo Mail, and Paypal without Norton Safe Search interfering. How can I resolve these issues and return to my preferred browser settings?
