I am not receiving emails in my eM Client account. An error message says IMAP wants my password, but I haven't changed it. My internet connection is fine, and I'm using eM Client to check my email. There are no antivirus or firewall settings blocking mail. What could be the issue and how can I resolve it?

I have a guy on my computer saying I have a virus and spyware and the only way to remove it is to pay $199.99 for six months. My computer is an Asus with a Core i5 Intel processor, and I'm unsure about the operating system. I've tried shutting off and restarting, but it locks up with a man talking about stealing my banking info. They claim to work for Microsoft. How can they do this when I have spyware and virus protection on my computer? If I don't pay, can you still help me? Also, does Malwarebytes defend against viruses and everything?

I was contacted by TecSecure, who claimed that my computer was hacked and needed to be cleaned. They took control of my computer, charged me $688.23, and tried to get me to pay an additional $688.23 for a lifetime protection program. I stopped the payment and closed my old checking account.
