Are you suggesting I take my dog to the vet due to these 'jerk-like' movements that occur when she sleeps? Also, her eyes are half-closed but she definitely is sleeping. Her name is * * she is part pit and the other part I don't know as my daughter rescued her from a dire situation when she was a puppy. She is (I think) 4 1/2 years old.
