My 8-year-old female lab had surgery for a fatty mass removal in her belly area. The wound seems to be getting worse and looks infected. She is currently on 500 mg of Keflex twice a day. How long will it take for the antibiotics to start working and for the wound to heal? Is there anything I can do at home to help?

Large black-blue spot on the inside hind leg of my dog, Mori, a 2-year-old fawn pug. The spot looks like a red-rimmed bruise but isn't. My 6-month-old puppy was prescribed Proviable Probiotic for occasional mucus in her stool. After the first day of use, she had a normal stool in the morning, but later that day, she had soft stool followed by a small amount of diarrhea. Is this normal when introducing a probiotic?
