She is not whining, indicating she may not be in pain. Her eyes stay focused straight ahead, and she doesn't respond to her name. She last saw a vet over a year ago and is not on any medication. She is responding well but has recently started licking her rear in a near frenzied manner. I have given her a 20 mg pill of Benadryl with no relief and have gabapentin on hand.
