Our dog, Diesel, has been eating almost 4 times what he used to. We recently changed his food to a Silence diet for a small dog, and he weighs 25 lbs. After eating, he goes outside and sometimes eats his own waste. He comes back in within 10 minutes and wants more food. Is it possible that he has a tapeworm or another type of infestation?

My dog has been on prednisone for 3 months for suspected Meningitis. She has been on 7.50 mg every other day for the last 3 weeks. I am concerned about her coat thinning and the vet has suggested a rapid reduction in dosage, ending with no prednisone after 3 days of 5mg.
