My dog, Max, a 5-year-old male, has been excessively licking his penis area for the past 2-3 days, leading to a buildup of smegma. There is some redness and swelling around the penis opening, but no unusual smell. He has full energy and is urinating normally. What could be causing this and how should I treat it?

My dog, Franklin, had a neuter surgery 4 days ago. His scrotum is black, which was noticeable immediately after the surgery. He is not licking or chewing at the area, and he is not in pain. Everything else with him is normal—energy, eating, etc. Should I be concerned about the black scrotum, and what should I monitor for?

I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Duke, who is 4 years old. He had an allergic reaction to ant bites, resulting in bumps and a rash. I've been giving him Benadryl 25 milligrams 2 to 3 times a day. His skin is hot, moist, and he scratches and bites at it all night. What can I do to help him, and should I take him to the vet?
