Our 9-year-old female mixed breed (Beagle/Terrier) has a small buildup of dark material in the corner of both eyes. It wipes clean with water but leaves a reddish stain on her white muzzle. She is not having any problems seeing, is not rubbing her eyes, and the whites of her eyes are not red. The condition has been visible for about a month. What could this be and should we be concerned?

My 6-week-old Basenji male puppy started scratching his nose and shaking his head about 6-7 hours ago, doing this every 10-15 minutes. He also runs with his two front feet and scrapes his anus on the floor about every half hour. There is slight redness from scratching on his nose, but no secretions from his nose, ears, and eyes. What could be causing this and what should I do?

Our 13-year-old Schipperke (female) has started having urinary accidents in our home. She loves being outside and signals us to go out by pacing in circles every 2 hours or so. Her water intake has increased slightly, but she is otherwise healthy and showing no obvious signs of urinary tract infection.
