My 13-year-old 80-pound black lab, Max, ate a half bar of pure dark chocolate (3-4 ounces) used for making hot cocoa about an hour ago. He seems fine, but I am hesitant to make him vomit due to his age. What can we do to help his digestion or avoid a problem?

My dog Woody has a sebaceous cyst that has been removed before and came back. It's benign but develops a brown film over it. Should I be concerned about this, and what should I do until his vet can see him on Monday?

I have extra cephalexin 500mg that I gave to one of my dogs (who passed away). I have a pug who weighs about 40lb and got bit by my chocolate lab pup, and his hind leg is a little swollen. Can I give him the rest of the pills?

I adopted my 7-month-old puppy about 4 weeks ago. Everything has been fine health-wise, but today I noticed she is biting her hind leg near her butt. There is a scab there, the size of a nickel, but the hair is still there, and there is no balding. Should I call the vet first thing in the morning, or is it okay since she isn't losing hair?
