My dog has diabetes. This morning he wouldn't eat anything at all, which is unusual as he usually devours his food. What should I do and can I still give him his Caninsulin?

My 10-year-old cocker spaniel, Bella, has had loose, watery stool and has been eating only rice with bland chicken since last Sunday evening. Her stool has turned orangeish brown, soft, and has a gel-like solution around it. She has stopped drinking water but is lapping up water mixed with her food. Her appetite is fine, but she has been laying around more than usual. What could be causing this and what should I do?
