My dog (39 lbs) may have eaten 2 to 3 tablespoons of table salt overnight. She had loose and more voluminous stools this morning, seemed fine afterward, but now seems distressed and has not eaten. Should I take her to the vet tonight or wait until tomorrow?

I have a 15-year-old male Papillon named Gizmo. He has diminished hearing, sleeps most of the day, and recently started coughing when picked up at night. His vet found an irregular heartbeat and did not clean his teeth. Gizmo also urinates in his crate at night, requiring frequent baths. Is there a connection between these issues, and is there medication to help with the nighttime urination?

Does the anti-inflammatory medication Previcox cause difficulties in breathing and excessive salivating in dogs? My dog, Boulie, has been experiencing loud breathing sounds, a whistling noise from the nose, difficulty completing yawns, and nonstop salivating. He is walking well, has a good appetite, and his stool is normal. What could these other symptoms indicate?

When I apply Simple Guard3, my Cocker Spaniel, Buddy, goes nuts for a couple of hours, trying to 'get it off his back' by rubbing on furniture and rugs. Is it burning him, and what other flea/tick prevention options are there for him since he won't take oral applications?
