My cat has a limping issue with his front left paw pad, possibly due to a sliver or glass. He mainly lays around now, and I've noticed clear fluid coming out from two spots on the paw pad when I apply pressure. What should I do, considering the nearest vet is 101 miles away?

My dog often feels sick in the mornings and doesn't eat her breakfast right away. She has been on Science Diet Sensitive Stomach for some time, and I've tried feeding her smaller, more frequent meals, but the issue persists.
