Newly diagnosed with diabetes (3 weeks). We can't get blood sugar below 400. Dosage has been increased from 4 to 6 units twice a day. Did a curve all day. Low of 462 and now 710. Suggestions? Additionally, Katie has gastrointestinal issues, so a high-fiber diet along with insulin isn't possible. She also has frequent urinary tract infections, at least twice a year. She is a 5-year-old King Charles Spaniel.

My 8-year-old boxer went from being very active and energetic to being unable to walk in three weeks. She was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and has been taking levothyroxine for a week, but continues to decline.
