My dog, a 2.5-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Laurel, may have broken her toe. She was running around yesterday evening when I noticed her licking at it and then not putting weight on it, with significant swelling afterward. There was no bleeding or visible puncture wounds. What should I do, and is it necessary to see a vet immediately?

I have a 12-year-old Yorkie named Layla who appears to have mastitis, which is infected. One of her glands is red, swollen, and she keeps licking it. She's eating well and not in distress, but she also has a growth on her left ear treated with over-the-counter disinfectant. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 2.5-year-old Australian Shepherd, Lincoln, has had diarrhea for about 24 hours, possibly due to eating grass. He is energetic and playful, but I am concerned about his condition. Is there any over-the-counter medicine or home remedy that can help soothe his gastrointestinal tract and improve his stool consistency?

Our 30 lb dog, Howie, may have ingested some Rodenticide pellets (brodifacoum) about 7 hours ago. He is acting fine now. If he did ingest it, would 25 mg of Vitamin K that I can give him tomorrow be an acceptable approach? Should I also have him get a PT/INR on Monday?

My dog ate a lot of chocolate. The dog weighs 60 lbs and ate a 14 oz pack of chocolate about an hour ago. The dog hasn't thrown up and is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd named Bear. What should I do?
