I have a Miniature Pinscher who is 1 year and 3 months old. She is laying flat, looking side to side, appears nervous, takes deep breaths, occasionally jerks, and shakes. She had breakfast but no lunch, won't drink water, and has been eating string from a toy. I'm worried she might have eaten a pill or something off the floor. What should I do?

Our dog, Bailey, a mini schnauzer around eight or nine years old, has started constantly looking up at the ceiling, sniffing, and moving his head around, especially in the last few days. He does this behavior sometimes but often enough, and it sometimes prevents him from settling down. His appetite seems normal, and he appears otherwise healthy. We are located in Montréal, Canada, where it is currently snowy and cold. What could be causing this behavior, and what should we do?

My Bichon Poodle, Woody, aged 8-9 years, has been coughing for about 8 months. He was initially diagnosed with a dog infection, treated with antibiotics, but the cough returned after the course. The vet did an X-ray and said it was okay, but the cough is now chronic and has been bothering both the dog and us for the last 4 weeks. What could be causing this chronic cough and what should we do?
