My dog, Hitch, seemed extra tired this morning. He did his potty break, came in for his favorite treat but did not eat it, laid down, and I noticed shaking and his left eye was partly closed. What could be causing this and what should I look out for?

My dog ate something she shouldn't have and is experiencing soreness, shaking, and difficulty sitting. She has not vomited or had diarrhea, but she is lethargic and her tail is curled under. Should I give her pain relief, wait to see if the item passes, or take her to the vet immediately?
