My dog, Duke, a 4-year-old Collie, has been experiencing extreme itching, redness, and scabs on his underbelly for a few months. Recently, the area has become inflamed and feels very hot. I've tried a shampoo prescribed by the vet, but it didn't help. What can I do until I can get him to the vet on Monday?

My dog, Kimbo, a 10-year-old Lhasa Apso mix, is trembling, lethargic, and won't move. He only eats out of my hand and drinks water with a syringe.
