My dog has lymphoma and is undergoing the CHOP protocol. Today, I noticed a little jelly-like blood in his stool. My vet checked bilirubin, amylase, and lipase, with lipase being 417 (normal range 0-225). The vet suggested it might be a little pancreatic irritation. My dog has a history of eating foreign objects and has had two GI surgeries to remove blockages. I am worried it might be another blockage. What could be causing the jelly-like blood in his stool, and should I be concerned about the elevated lipase?

I have an 80lb, 7.5-year-old spayed Golden Retriever on phenobarb twice daily for seizures. A couple of days ago, I noticed two patches of skin, each about the size of a fifty-cent piece, on her back, a few inches down from her shoulders. They are dry, scabbing, and worrisome because I don't know how they got there or the best way to treat them. What could these patches be, and how should I treat them?

My dog, Bentley, fell down the stairs and seems to be struggling a bit when laying down or getting up, but walks fine and doesn't cry when I touch his right front leg. What should I do?

My dog's lower jaw is not working. He's able to eat and drink water mainly with his tongue, so I'm feeding him canned food. The vet believes there may be some nerve damage, and blood work didn't show much that is out of the ordinary. He seems like he's adapting, but what are some things that could have caused this? He doesn't seem to be able to move the lower jaw anymore. Could the jaw issue be age-related? Should I ask for an X-ray? My vet suggested a specialist.

Our 14-year-old lab ate a poppy seed danish. Is there a risk of toxicity from the poppy seeds, and what should we do if we are concerned?
