My dog has lymphoma and is undergoing the CHOP protocol. Today, I noticed a little jelly-like blood in his stool. My vet checked bilirubin, amylase, and lipase, with lipase being 417 (normal range 0-225). The vet suggested it might be a little pancreatic irritation. My dog has a history of eating foreign objects and has had two GI surgeries to remove blockages. I am worried it might be another blockage. What could be causing the jelly-like blood in his stool, and should I be concerned about the elevated lipase?
