We adopted a dog from a healthy environment. The previous owner wants to have a play date as they miss the dog greatly. We are open to it, but we're unsure about the timing and potential impact on our relationship with the dog. Is there a right time to set up a date? What is too soon? Do we risk going backwards with our relationship with the dog? Additionally, we have another dog in our family. Would there be any issues with the other dog if we met at a neutral location like a park?

My dog is already on carprofen for arthritis, but she is still in pain with the highest dose I can safely give (1mg per lb of body weight 2X a day). Can I use Dr. Jacobs original Pferdesalbe or any human pain cream as well? Or what else could I do for her?

My Brittany ate my lab's Comfortis in addition to her own. The lab takes 1620mg and we give a half a tab to the Brittany who weighs 34 pounds. So she got 2430mg. That was at 9AM California time.
