My dog, Jax, a 2-year-old Shorkie mix, is coughing up yellow stuff, isn't eating, and is very sleepy. He doesn't seem to be in pain, has no trouble breathing, and his gums are a usual color. He isn't drinking and doesn't want to play. He has some allergies but is not on any medications. What could be wrong and what should I do?

I recently lost my 10-year-old Walker Hound to paralysis in his front legs within 48 hours, suspected to be caused by a herniated disk, tumor, or stroke. My 95-year-old mother is deeply affected by this loss. I am considering adopting a Jindo from a Canadian shelter, but the dog has a bent ear. My Pug, Pepper, has had a drying out issue on her nose and chin for a few weeks. Her nose looks like it's closing, and I initially thought it was due to red ant bites. She is 2 years old and weighs 22 lbs. I have been washing her every night with oat and aloe Vera shampoo and applying olive oil. What should I do?
