My dog, Kiyeega, has been losing a lot of weight over the last month and I don't know why. He's been drinking less water than usual and hasn't shown any changes in appetite. He's 3 years old and hasn't had any other symptoms like lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, or coughing. He's not on a heartworm preventative and has gotten into the trash before. What could be causing his weight loss and is there anything I can do to help before my appointment next Saturday?
