My dog Maui, who is 4 years old, injured his dew claw and it is now swollen. He has been licking it. I was planning to soak it in warm Epsom salts and am unsure if I need an oral antibiotic. Should I also wrap the paw with vet wrap?

You can soak Maui's injured dew claw in warm Epsom salts twice a day and apply Neosporin twice a day...

My 5-year-old Chow Chow, Simba, has dry, scaly spots mainly on his neck, chest, front legs, and behind the tail. The skin underneath is pink and reddish when the dry skin is scraped off. He is not itchy or scratching, and there is no obvious redness or inflammation except when the dry skin is removed. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 5-pound Chihuahua named Moe, who is 8 years and 1 month old, has had a red eye and puffiness for over a week. I've tried saline drops, Benadryl, and he doesn't seem to be getting better. I'm concerned he might have contracted conjunctivitis from my grandchildren who had it. I'm on disability and can't afford the vet fees right now. What home remedies or financial assistance options are available to help treat my dog?
