My dog, B, was treated for an ear infection with Gentizol and now has black gunk on the outside of the inner ear flap. Is this normal, what is it, should I clean it off, and if so, how do I clean it off?

My 13-year-old dog, Oreo, has been wheezing and gagging for the past few weeks. We tried theophylline but it's not helping much. We are now trying to change his diet. The vet suggested heart medication, but Oreo is not showing any other symptoms. He had an extensive workup in July that showed normal results, including chest, hip, and brain checks. He also had normal urine and stool samples recently. Oreo has a history of idiopathic ventricular disease and anxiety, for which he is taking clomicalm and elavil. What could be causing his symptoms, and what steps can we take to manage them without needing to sedate him for a vet visit?

My 48-pound 2-year-old husky ate about 75-80 pills of my 120mg Armour Thyroid medication 1-3 hours ago. We induced vomiting but didn't see any pills come up. Is there a high risk she could be poisoned, and what should I do next?

My 6-month-old Bouvier pup, Nelson, has a rash around the groin area. There is no evidence of fleas, and we live in Michigan with below-freezing temperatures. We have not used flea preventative since winter started. Our other 4-year-old Bouvier does not have any symptoms. What could be causing the rash, and what can we do to help Nelson?
