My dog's tail got caught in the door and was broken off. There's something long that came out with it, and I'm worried it might be nerve-related. What should I do for immediate care, and should I take her to the vet in the morning?

My dog, Kai, a 5-year-old mixed breed (possibly with boxer or pitbull), has swollen glands, is lethargic for a couple of days, and is not excited about his food. He is having difficulties getting up stairs and from a laying down position. His anal glands are swollen, and I have increased his fiber intake and ensured he drinks plenty of water. There is no drainage from the area, and he was neutered before we got him. His stools are a bit softer throughout the day but still formed. What could be causing these issues, and what should I do?
