My dog, Sadie, a 4-year-old German Shepherd, suddenly started shaking, baring her teeth, twitching her legs, and flopping back and forth, hitting her head on the ground. She was unresponsive and urinated during this episode, which lasted less than 2 minutes. This is the second time in 2 nights this has happened. After the episode, she paced around the room and drank a lot of water. What is going on?

My 65-pound Dutch shepherd shredded an HP inkjet cartridge (cyan C9386A). We think she did it recently before we returned home, and we think it only got on her outer gums, not the gums around her teeth. Do we need to worry, and if so, what do we need to look for?

My dog was started on Cipro and then switched to Albon within a 2-day period due to a chronic UTI. I'm concerned about which antibiotic is effective, as the sensitivity test results are not yet available. The ultrasound showed no growths, and the Cipro was initially administered by injection. Once the current flare-up is under control, the vet plans to start pulsing an antibiotic to prevent future UTIs. My dog is a 12-year-old Golden Retriever. What should I know about the effectiveness and safety of these antibiotics, and how should we proceed with treatment?
