My Klee Kai dog ate about half a pound of milk chocolate, some with almonds, some with coconut, and some with maple. She has thrown up and is currently playful and very alert. What should I do?

My 7-year-old female Chihuahua constantly licks her legs and bites her rear paws, sometimes appearing to have a fit. I changed her dog food from chicken to beef kibble, thinking it might be a chicken allergy, but it helped only a little. She looks very uncomfortable. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?

Since then, he has been acting disoriented, withdrawn, and emotionally detached, which is unlike his usual behavior. He has a history of seizures but has not had one in over a year. My dog was prescribed both metronidazole 250mg and famotidine 10mg. Can I give one metronidazole in the morning and 1/2 tablet famotidine at night? The dog weighs 20 lbs and is on a rice and chicken diet, but the diarrhea does not stop. What is the correct dosage and schedule for these medications?

My dog is having difficulty with bowel movements. He is experiencing wetting but no solid bowel movements, started this morning. He weighs 20lbs and is a Norwich/Australian Terrier mix. I have stopped feeding him and gave him a pet probiotic and part of a TUM 3 hours ago. His last attempt resulted in a brown, spotty, runny stool. He has been drinking water. What could be causing this and what should I do?
