My older dog, Gixxer, a 12-year-old blue nose pit bull, has been constantly vomiting bright yellow bile on and off for at least a week. He has been acting fine and eating well if his food is softened with warm water. He has not had any diarrhea. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Chloe, a 6-year-old healthy dog, has had loose, dark, and bloody stools since yesterday afternoon. She hasn't eaten anything unusual and her gums are pink. She recently got into the trash, which she has never done before. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 16-pound West Highland Terrier, Dolly, ate about half of a 3-inch diameter chocolate cookie 20 minutes ago. She seems okay so far, but I'm concerned because she has IBD. Should I be worried, and what signs should I look for that would prompt me to take her to an emergency vet?
