I have a 16-year-old miniature poodle named Cindy Cinderella who has cataracts (possibly 60% coverage). Is she too old to be put under anesthesia for cataract surgery, and could she have a different eye condition like iris disease instead?

My dog has a mandible tumor and has been diagnosed with bone cancer. He was given 4 months to live without surgery, but I have been treating him at home 'homeopathically' along with a month's prescription of antibiotics from our vet for almost 3 years. He has now developed an open sore on the outside bottom of his jaw that bleeds off and on. Is there anything I can do about this?
