Shilo, a 4-year-old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix, hasn't eaten all day, has been lethargic, and had diarrhea mixed with solid feces and a small amount of blood. She recently changed her food from Pedigree to Blue Buffalo all natural. What could be causing these issues and what advice can you provide?

My 4-year-old Chihuahua is breathing fast even at rest and has a hacking cough similar to a cat bringing up a fur ball. He has never had these symptoms before, and his brother died at age 2 with similar symptoms. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

My 5-year-old dog had an emergency operation for pyometra 9 days ago and was critical for 4 days after that. Since coming home, she seems well and happy, but occasionally pants heavily for about 5 minutes and drinks a lot of water. She is still on twice-daily antibiotics. Is the panting and increased water consumption normal during recovery, or should I have the vet check her again? She's due for a vet visit and check-up in one week.

My lurcher cross has symptoms somewhat similar to anxiety but I think she has eaten bluebell bulbs. She looks like she is having hallucinations at times. Could this be possible?

Our dog was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma and started on Melphalan and prednisone. He has been doing well but has been receiving rotisserie chicken daily. Today, he is lethargic, not eating, and has labored breathing. I am concerned about possible thiosulfate poisoning from onion powder or garlic in the chicken. Is there anything we can do for him at home?
