I had a D&C 4 weeks ago due to a miscarriage (10 weeks). I bled for 10 days, and recently experienced light brown spotting. My breasts have gotten bigger, and I've been feeling twinges. I had a follow-up exam and everything was ok. Is the spotting due to my hormones being completely messed up, or is it due to something else? Should I consider this spotting as my period, or is it normal to have period abnormalities after a D&C?

My daughter had a liver test done, and it came back positive for Hepatitis C type 1a with a viral load of 4,200,000 copies/ml. What does this mean, and did she just get it? She is 24, has a drinking problem, and has systemic allergies to red dye and penicillin. I've read that if she just contracted it, it could respond to medicine and not be chronic. Does this 'medium' viral load already mean chronic?
