A school board attorney sent me a letter stating that they found no evidence to support my claim that my Request for Access to Records dated September 25, 2012, and September 26, 2012, were mishandled or unethically handled by the school district. I never claimed anyone handled my claim unethically. I asked for an opportunity to inspect, review, and copy public records. I was never given this opportunity. The attorney mailed a copy of this letter to the school board, superintendent, and Director of Human Resources. I am also the agent on the school district's dental/vision employee benefits plan, and those people vote on employee benefits. The Director of Human Resources had already said my plan was going to go out for proposals, which could make me lose this my only client because I am on SSDI and receive renewals on this account. Is this considered defamation under libel laws?
