Angie was in an accident on 4/16/2009. The driver and another passenger died, but Angie was taken to the hospital where they recommend removing her tubes and letting her die. Her son and daughter are not ready to let her go and believe that with feeding and breathing tubes, Angie could survive for a long time. They want to give her more time to see if she wakes up. If they decide to install the feeding and breathing tubes and later feel it was the wrong choice, can they withdraw support and let her die without legal problems?

Can my previous employer come after me for using reward points from a website if there was no policy in place regarding rewards, and I used a company credit card for booking travel that was necessary for work, but the rewards from the travel website were credited to my personal account?

During our annual election, I received proxies from 4 people. The inspector of elections, who is also the lawyer suing me on behalf of the HOA, rejected my proxies, claiming they did not comply with Corp Code 7514 and the Davis Stirling Act. He objected to the word 'only' in the proxy and ignored the fact that it was a directed proxy. I believe this was done in bad faith due to his bias against me. Can you review the proxies and the relevant corporate codes to determine if his rejection was justified? Because of this, I could not submit ballots for 3 people, and I plan to sue over this election due to this and other violations of civil code.

I work for a group of physicians organized as an LLC, assisting in negotiating employment contracts with hospitals and reviewing HIPAA compliance. I am married to one of the physicians and charge hourly without a retainer, working only for this group. I want to identify any potential conflicts of interest due to my marital status, but am unsure if there are any, as my work is for the LLC, not individual physicians. The LLC is incorporated in Utah. What potential conflicts of interest could arise due to my status as a spouse?

I purchased a vehicle from Copart, an online auction company, which advertised the vehicle as having a Wyoming Certificate of Title with no brands. However, I received a title marked 'Salvaged.' Copart is willing to buy the car back or help me get a rebuilt salvage title, but I've already spent $2000 on repairs. What is the best course of action: negotiating a higher buyback price, seeking legal advice, or exploring other options?

My parents, who are now ill and broke, have been giving a family member $15,000 to $20,000 per year for the last 20 years through checks, and cashed in CDs for about $35,000 in cash. Their monthly income of $5,200 would cover assisted living, but they've been denied acceptance to three facilities and are awaiting an examination at a fourth. If denied again, a skilled care facility (nursing home) seems like the only option. I'm concerned about the Medicaid look-back period of 5 years and how the gifting will affect their eligibility. What can be done to help them qualify for Medicaid?
