As a landlord in the process of evicting a tenant, I need advice regarding the final steps to take. After the tenant responded to my lawsuit, the El Paso County Colorado Combined Court sent a notice for mandatory mediation to both parties. During the mediation, we agreed that the tenant would have an extra month to vacate the premises and I would waive any pursuit of payment for the $5,800 owed, provided they pay the rent for one final month. The agreement was legally binding and signed by both parties, and stated that failure to vacate by the given date would result in the case being backdated and a writ of restitution being filed. Unfortunately, despite the agreement, my tenant has made no effort to leave or pack their belongings. If they're not out by Sunday evening, I plan to file for the writ on Monday morning when the court opens. My question is whether or not I can file a motion for contempt of court on the same day, and if it's likely that the judge will act upon it.

I signed a contract with a consulting company for the ERC credit, but I mistakenly signed with the wrong company. My wife has already signed with another company for the same service. Can I choose to use the other company my wife signed with first without the company I signed with suing me?

As an employer in New Jersey, we received a medical support notice for a child. Our insurance plan requires the employee to be enrolled in order to cover dependents. The employee claims that if our plan requires him to enroll himself, he doesn't have to comply with the medical support notice. He also mentioned that forcing him to enroll violates monetary and maritime law and is unconstitutional. What are the legal implications of this situation?

I have put in an open records request to a police department in Fulton County, Georgia, regarding police corruption in a case against me. They have denied the request, claiming there is an open investigation. I have proof that all charges against me have been dropped due to lack of evidence as of August 2022. Don’t they have to provide information on what open investigation they are referring to? How do I proceed, considering hiring a civil rights violation attorney?

I have a web design company based in Florida. I hired a company to set up a website over a year ago, but after working with 4 different people, I still don't have a corrected site. I have all the documentation from day one and have spoken with the complaint department, but the issue remains unresolved. What steps can I take to get my money back, and is there a way to escalate this issue legally?

I received a summons for a credit card issue and want to resolve it, but I've been unable to reach the lawyer or Citibank. I'm in Arkansas and have already found a solo suit who filed an answer, but I'm unsure if it was filed with the courthouse. I want to make payments to resolve this issue as soon as possible. What should I do?
