My Birth Certificate only has my last name, and I was named with my first and middle names at my Baptism a week later. Now, under new laws, no one will accept my Birth Certificate for identification purposes. I am 76 years old, on a fixed income, and live in Albuquerque, NM. I have tried to get a State ID card and even my own bank won't accept my Birth Certificate. Legal Zoom also couldn't process my request due to the lack of first and middle names on my Birth Certificate. What can I do to prove my identity and obtain a valid ID?
